Black Soul Strangers
Definitions of the word Haunting include unforgettable, lasting, and continually recurring to the mind and so it was with careful reflection that Irish quartet Black Soul Strangers chose this as their latest single.
Released March 15th on Squeek Records, the evocative piece of musical soul searching was written by the band whilst growing up in a run-down area of west Dublin as they watched most of the people they grew up with fade away into drugs or alcohol. Front man Barry Gorey, who wrote the lyrics to the track said:
`It was during this time that my father suddenly passed away. This was when the idea of slowly crafting songs went out the window, and everything just poured out of me

OK Go is an American alternative rock band originally from Chicago, Illinois, but now residing in Los Angeles, California. The band is composed of Damian Kulash (lead vocals, guitar and car), Tim Nordwind (bass guitar and vocals), Dan Konopka (drums and percussion) and Andy Ross (guitar, keyboards and vocals), who joined them in 2005, replacing Andy Duncan. They are perhaps best known for their often elaborate and quirky music videos. The original members formed as OK Go in 1998 and released two studio albums before Duncan's departure. The band's video for "Here It Goes Again" won a Grammy Award for "Best Short-Form Music Video" in 2007.
