THE MISSION...
The aim of Boogie Lounge is to provide all our guests with a lively and fun night out in a safe and friendly environment. We have created a unique, retro-style venue where people of all ages can feel at home amongst like-minded and happy-go-lucky party-goers! The Boogie Lounge is a one-off, an independently-owned club, and we pride ourselves in trying to provide the personal touch together with a high level of service and value for money pricing.
THE MUSIC!
The soundtrack to Saturdays is an exhilarating journey through the decades; from the deep disco funk of the 70s, through the pop phenomenon that was the 80s, up to the classics from the 90s and today.
Friday is all about the 80s, with £1 entry and a free shot, Blondie, Tiffany and even Chesney are waiting for you!
On weeknights our music policy alters as we host a variety of nights including 2 very different student nights on Mondays and Wednesdays plus monthly Comedy (see Upcoming Events section) and regular Live music (see Upcoming Events section). THE CLUB!
Boogie Lounge has two floors, the main room, which accommodates the main dance area and the main bar, is found on the ground floor and has witnessed some fabulous sights!
The Lava Bar can be found on the 1st floor of the club and is a unique, stylish and adaptable room. With its original brickwork, drapes, low tables and low lighting, the Lava bar has a funky, retro-feel that lends itself equally to relaxing or dancing. The bar is also available for hire.
At weekends we are a popular venue for celebratory occasions such as Birthdays, Hen and Stag parties, also work-related parties such as payday parties + leaving parties. So we welcome large groups of smiley, happy people!
Our dress code is almost unrestricted and we encourage fancy dress!
Our admission policy is specifically designed to filter away any "undesirables" thus allowing you to revel freely and strut your stuff unreservedly! Boogie Lounge is like no other club - its vibe is a special one, relaxed, yet full of energy - come and experience it for yourself and avoid the cattle-market clubs!
