OUR DAY OUT

The Everyman Youth Theatre brings Willy Russell`s sad, funny and true to life musical, to the Everyman Stage.

Our Day Out takes us back to the early 1980s, where a group of underprivileged children from the progress class are taken on a day`s outing by their teachers. The kids rampage through a roadside café, a zoo, a castle and a beach, living the joys and agonies of growing up, being out of school and seeing the world outside the city for the first time. Complete with great music and Willy Russell`s trademark Liverpudlian wit, this is a day out you won`t want to miss!

The Everyman Youth Theatre caters for 4 – 18 year olds. Each group has weekly sessions and performs regularly at The Everyman Studio Theatre, as well as the main stage at the Everyman. For more details and how to join, email nicola.golightly@everymantheatre.org.uk

Willy Russell is one of the UK`s best known writers, having penned the hit shows Educating Rita, Shirley Valentine and Blood Brothers, which returns to The Everyman in the Summer.
